Ofsted Inspection of Jesmond Gardens Primary School
Jesmond Gardens was last inspected in November 2014 with us being graded good overall with behaviour and safety outstanding. We were disappointed that we were not graded outstanding but educationalists and the local authority feel that we did deserve to be graded outstanding on the strength of our excellent achievement. The report reads very well and certainly puts us in the very top end of "good". Sadly "very good" does not exist in the inspection world.
Everything we do at Jesmond Gardens aims to make sure that all children achieve the best that they can but also leave our school with the potential to lead successful adults lives.
Our children behave very well and have excellent attitudes to learning. Staff have very good relationships with children and aim to support children to achieve well.
Feedback from parents and children is overwhelmingly positive too. The inspection team told me that this was the first school in many years where they did not receive a single parental complaint. ParentView was also one of the most positive! Thank you!
Our next inspection should be around autumn 2017!
